Black Tie Affair presents Wedding Ceremony & Reception Music Black Tie Affair is broadly known as one of the leading wedding reception bands in the Carolinas, and Georgia. We begin each reception with very classy solo piano, and instrumental jazz as your guests arrive. We will gladly announce the entire wedding party upon your arrival, and feature the Bride & Groom to the song of their choice, as their first dance song, once they enter the reception. We follow that with the traditional father - daughter dance, and often play a special song for the groom and his mom, as well. We can provide instrumental background music during cocktails and dinner, and then open the dance floor for dancing, featuring all of your favorite dance music, from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, & 90's! We also bring along a state of the art sound system, digital lighting system, and now feature a computer loaded with over 50,000 dance favorites, and pro DJ software, that combines the best of both worlds, a great band, and a great DJ, all in one package! With this combination, we have the ability to play a great variety of beach music, oldies dance favorites, and party hits, and visually entertain your guests with the band, then feature a current hits set in the middle of the dance portion of the evening, featuring all of your current / recent favorites that you and all of your friends love to dance and party to! We will send you a reception agenda once we've secured the date, that covers all of the details of your reception. We can customize the band's song list, and the DJ set, to your specific tastes and requests, and direct the flow of the entire reception from beginning to end! We provide a mic for toasts or comments from your parents or guests, and will gladly announce the entire reception for you, such as the cutting of the cake, the throwing of the bouquet, and the garter. When it's time for you to leave the reception, we direct your guests where to go, and send you out the door to a very lively cathedral organ arrangement of Mendelssohn's Wedding March, as you run out the door en-route to your honeymoon! If you are having your wedding ceremony on site where the reception is to be held, we can provide the music and sound for your ceremony, featuring a digital grand piano and solo trumpet, as you walk down the isle. We can also add strings, a harpist, a guitarist, or vocalist, upon your request. We provide sound for the ceremony, and also provide a lav mic for the minister, which allows your guests to hear his words, plus allows them to hear your vows! If requested, we can also digitally record the ceremony, and send a copy to you or your videographer, so that you have a digitally mastered recording of your very special wedding day!
